Nantucket Island Vacation Rentals


Located a short distance from downtown Nantucket, White Elephant Village provides an ideal setting for family vacations, relaxing escapes, and romantic getaways. Tucked off the main road and just minutes from the White Elephant Hotel, this Nantucket resort consists of the newly completed Inn at White Elephant Village, as well as the existing White Elephant Residences. The Village grounds feature inviting pathways that meander through beautiful gardens, offering a serene, tranquil setting.
The Inn at White Elephant Village features contemporary components blended with natural elements to reflect the local landscape. Guests enjoy exclusive use of the lobby for morning coffee and all-day snacks, as well as a heated outdoor pool and cabanas, fitness center, and complimentary adult bicycles, based on availability.

For guests arriving by air and by sea, Nantucket is quite accessible. Many cities offer seasonal air travel to the island, including Boston, Providence, New York, and Washington D.C.

On Island Transportation


Guests of White Elephant Village enjoy BMW courtesy cars for transportation to Nantucket Town, as well as van service to and from the nearby ferry landings. Complimentary bikes are also available for exploring the scenic landscape of Nantucket Island.

Ferry Service


Regular ferry service is available from Hyannis, Massachusetts on the Hy-Line Ferry and the Steamship Authority. Both companies offer one-hour, high speed ferry service and the Steamship Authority offers the car ferry. (We discourage our guests from bringing automobiles on island.) Please let us know if you are planning on arriving via high speed ferry, as we can arrange a complimentary van pick up.

CapeFLyer Train from Boston to Hyannis


The CapeFLyer train service runs from South Station in Boston to the Hyannis Transportation Center, just a short walk to the ferry docks, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Trains depart from South Station on Friday evenings as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings, trains depart from Hyannis on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Travel time is two hours.
